If there’s information on your report that you don’t recognise, it’s best you contact the bank/lender involved to see why this information is showing on your report.
If this is a mistake on the bank/lender’s part, they will need to amend their records and update this information with Experian (our data provider).
Please be aware that it can take up to 60 days for the updated information to reflect on your ClearScore report.
If after 60 days the unrecognised information is still showing on your report, you’ll need to let Experian know.
You can contact Experian directly on
0117993403, or raise a dispute via our
contact form.
When raising a dispute with Experian, please make sure that you:
- Raise the dispute with the email registered to your ClearScore account.
- Outline the full details of your query.
- Provide your ID number.
- Attach any supporting documents.
Please be aware that Experian can take up to 20 business days to come to a resolution, though the process is usually much faster than that.
