We get all your credit report and score data from Experian (our data provider), and in turn, they receive your data from banks and lenders.
When you apply for credit, you give your phone number and address to the lender, and Experian keeps these details to be reflected on your credit report.
If you need to change any of these details, you’ll need to first contact your banks and lenders to update your information.
Once you’ve done this, it can take up to 60 days for this information to be updated on your ClearScore report.
If after 60 days your information has not updated, you’ll need to raise a dispute with Experian.
When raising a dispute with Experian, please make sure that you:
- Raise the dispute with the email registered to your ClearScore account.
- Outline the full details of your query.
- Provide your ID number.
- Attach any supporting documents.
Please be aware that Experian can take up to 20 business days to come to a resolution, though the process is usually much faster than that.
