Account information can appear as removed and then added again when:
- The lender or provider made updates that don't impact your credit score.
- Changes on the provider's side were sent to the credit bureaus so they show as account removed and added.
- The company name or account number or other small changes were made but it might not impact your score.
Look through the 'Accounts' tab of your credit report (including 'Closed' accounts). If something doesn't look right, contact the lender, provider or bank first. They'll be to check why the information is being shared in this way.
If you’re unable to get this resolved with the bank or lender, you can raise a dispute by using our form in our chat messenger (bottom right of this page).
