You can stop optional (marketing) emails at any time. Some essential emails (“core communications”) will still be sent - see below.
In the app or web:
- Tap the My Account icon (person silhouette).
- Settings
- Go to Communication.
- Toggle Email communication off.
Emails we’ll still send (core communications) Even if you unsubscribe from marketing, we’ll continue to send essential emails, such as:
- Your monthly credit report is ready
- New breach found on an email address linked to your Protect service
- Important company updates that affect our Terms & Conditions
- Security alerts (e.g., unusual activity on your account)
- Critical changes to your credit report or score
Note: The number of essential emails you receive depends on how often there are critical updates to your credit report or account security.
