First, contact the lenders directly and request them to send the updated information to Experian. This is usually the best (and quickest) way to get information updated.
Once the lenders/creditors have sent the manual amendment request, it will take 5-10 business days for Experian to update their records. The changes will then reflect in your next month's credit report.
All the information on your credit report is provided to us by Experian, our partner credit bureau in South Africa. If there is incorrect information on your credit report, you’ll need to let Experian know.
