There’s no one answer. Different banks, lenders and credit reference bureaus hold different information on you and will calculate your score differently.
At ClearScore, we show you your credit score provided to us by Experian (our data provider). This can range from 0 - 705, with 705 being the highest.
The higher your score, the more likely you are to be offered credit. A higher score also means that you could be eligible for better interest rates and deals on credit.
The best way to build and protect your credit score is to responsibly manage your finances. This means always paying on time and keeping your credit repayments between 20% and 30% of your income.
