Every credit bureau, bank and financial institution will hold different information on you. They’ll also use different criteria to calculate your credit score.
They might also calculate your score for products differently. For example, the same bank could give you one score for a credit card application and a different score for a mortgage. Banks and lenders don't share details on how they make the calculation.
We get your credit score and report from Experian, one of the main credit bureau’s in South-Africa. Experian use your most up to date information to calculate your score, and the information used will be similar to the information used by the lenders when they calculate your score.
