We get your credit report and score information, including your address and phone number, from Experian, our data provider. Experian gets this information from banks and lenders.
When you apply for credit, you share details such as your phone number and address with the lender. These details can then appear on your credit report. The contact details you see in the ClearScore app under My Account > My Details are your account and accessibility details. Updating these details will only update your ClearScore account information and will not update the details shown on your credit report.
If the phone number, email address, or other details on your credit report are incorrect or outdated, you’ll need to contact your banks and lenders first and ask them to update your information.
Once they’ve updated your information, it can take up to 60 days for the changes to appear on your credit report.
If your information has still not been updated after 60 days, you can raise a dispute with Experian through our chat on the right-hand side of this page.
