At ClearScore, we present you with the information held by Experian, our partner credit bureau in South Africa.
If some of your accounts seem to be missing from your report, this could be for different reasons:
- If your account was previously on your report, it could be due to an update from your lender or CRB. If so, your account should show on your next credit report update
- They appear under a different company name
- This particular lender does not share their information with Experian (some don’t)
- Your account is new so it hasn’t been added to your report. If an account has been recently opened, it can take some time to show on your credit report while Experian wait for an update from the lender. Keep checking your report regularly to check for any updates
If you believe an account is incorrectly missing from your report, contact the lender directly and ask them to share their data with Experian.
Once the lender shares this information with Experian, it can take up to 60 days to show on your credit report.
